The Blue Heart Campaign was an initiative started by the United Nations in 2000 to bring awareness to human trafficking around the globe. The campaign encourages people all over the world to participate in a variety of ways to help stop this tragic reality in our culture.
WHO DO WE SUPPORT?
County Line Church supports the International Justice Mission (IJM) and their efforts in the Dominican Republic. IJM works with local law enforcement to rescue underage children from the human trafficking trade, places them in Christian-based homes of restoration and works to put the perpetrators in jail. If a farmer attends County Line Church and decides to support IJM, County Line will pay for and install the sign. If a farmer within or outside County Line would like to support a different worthy organization, please feel free to contact Fastsigns in Fort Wayne to coordinate the purchase and installation of your sign.
WHAT IS COUNTY LINE'S ROLE?
In April of 2021, County Line Church decided to give the proceeds from its adjacent farmland to help fight human trafficking. We would like to encourage farmers around Northeast Indiana to give a portion of their crop proceeds to do the same and also place a Blue Heart Campaign sign in their field to help bring awareness.
Although this Blue Heart initiative was started at County Line Church, we see this as a community-wide project. We are all concerned citizens and by coming together we can make a dent in this multibillion-dollar industry that horrifically exploits innocent people, especially underage children.
