SPIRITUAL LIFE JOURNEY
Moving Towards Christ-Centeredness
Life with Christ is a journey. As a church, our mission is to do everything we can to help people become fully Christ-Centered individuals and families. In fact, every ministry, program, and event is designed and implemented so that individuals have the opportunity to move towards becoming more Christ-Centered through their Spiritual Journey.
We observe five stages of the pre-Christian/Christian life: Rejecting (R), Exploring (E), Beginning (B), Growing (G), and Christ-Centered (CC). Our goal is to help all people within our sphere of influence, no matter where they are in their spiritual life journey, move along the journey to become Christ-Centered.

REJECTING: “I do not believe in God or Jesus Christ. I have no desire for faith to become a part of my life.”
DEFROST: In order for someone to move from Rejecting Christ to Exploring Christ, they must become spiritually defrosted. This typically takes place over time and through many conversations and encounters.
EXPLORING: “I believe in God, but I am not sure about Christ. My faith is not a significant part of my life.”
BEGINNING: “I believe in Jesus Christ and I am working on what it means to get to know him.”
GROWING: “I feel close to Christ and ask him to guide and bless me daily.”
CHRIST-CENTERED: “My relationship with Jesus is the most important relationship in my life. He guides everything I do.”
“RECEIVING LIFE FROM OTHERS”: As a new believer crosses the line of faith their heart and mind is like a sponge and soaking up everything they can from others. The blue line begins with an open gap, but shrinks as it moves towards Growing.
“GIVE YOUR LIFE AWAY”: Between the Beginning and Growing stage, it is important to turn the corner and think about passing on all that you have learned. Serving and leading becomes the lens through which you speak, learn, study, and pray.
