High School Ministry
What to expect on Sundays...
As a senior high guest, our goal is to help you feel welcome each Sunday Morning. We are excited that you have decided to visit us. We know that it can be a little intimidating walking into a place where you may not know anyone, so we will help you to feel accepted.
Our high school class meets during the third worship service (11:00). We meet in room 5 (click here for map). Typically there are 35-40 students who attend each week. Our students come from high schools throughout the area (DeKalb, Garrett, Eastside, Leo,
Our goal for the class is for students to be able to build relationships with each other and to discover God’s truth for their lives. Students will find our studies and discussions relevant to their lives and world as we seek to discover God’s love for us. We encourage students to attend the first worship service with their family. What to expect on Wednesday nights...
Wednesday nights is our small group night for our high school ministry (6:45 – 8:00 p.m.). Students are divided in same-gender groups and meet at the church in groups of 6-8 with a caring adult leader. Our small group format consists of the ABC’s of the Christian life – Accountability, Bible study, and conversation with God. It is our desire that the adult leader will disciple the students into a deeper understanding and knowledge of their walk with God. To the high school ministry, small groups is our core ministry. As a member of a small group, students interact at a deeper level with the truth we discuss from God’s Word, and students are held accountable for issues that they are struggling with. If you are interested in being a part of a small group or have any questions, please contact Youth Pastor Dane Kruse.
